Skipass is an event for all mountain lovers: a definite date in the diary for anyone looking for sports equipment and technical clothing. For the 2016 and 2017 editions of this event dedicated to winter tourism, we looked after the event’s online communications, from the social media strategy to the planned digital media campaigns that supported it.

The whole operation was accompanied by a Pay-Per-Click campaign on Facebook, Instagram, and Google AdWords, with the initial aim of increasing engagement and then, during the time just before the exhibition, promoting the sale of entrance tickets.

We used an integrated social media strategy to explore the world of mountain sports in all its different forms, where we accompanied winter sports enthusiasts up until the gates were opened. During the actual exhibition itself, we then followed the various events and shared across digital platforms what was going on at the various stands at the Modena Fiere site.


Videos are an essential tool for getting users involved. To re-engage winter sports enthusiasts after the summer season, we created a video trailer that acts as a teaser for the exhibition. Some of the most important events during this Modena-based festival were also documented using daily short videos that were shared across various social media channels.
